Double 4 was designed to look like the 4″ Clapboard wood. In the past it was more popular on the smaller single story homes, however today it used on all sizes and styles of homes. It is available in a wide range colors and thickness. Thickness, measured in “Mils” can be anywhere from .038 to .050, and is a general gauge to the overall performance of a Vinyl Siding Panel. The Thicker the Panel, the more Superior the product.

Dutchlap gets it’s name from the beveled area where the individual panels meet. It’s style was taken from wood pattern and became popular because it makes imperfect walls appear straighter. It is available in 4″, 4-1/2″ and 5″ widths, and is available in a wide range colors and thickness.
